CSR
As a corporate citizen, BICA recognizes its responsibility as an economic entity in the society in which it operates in and has been responsive to different proposals across different societal and community needs such as sponsorship and speakership at price-giving ceremonies in schools, social health drives, and donations to less privileged members of community.

CSR Sponsorship Process

To ensure compliance to the institutes levels of ethical conduct. The beneficiaries of the project go through an evaluation process administered by the CSR committee used to ensure that the sponsorships and donations that are provided add value to the target groups.

Preference will be given to but not limited to the below focus areas which include, educational and training institutions, OVCs under the NGO and government institutions and SMMEs that require technical training in the institutes field of proficiency.

As an Education and Training sector player, BICA will contribute towards improving schools as part support of the NHRDS agenda. Needs assessments will ensure the CSR initiatives improve the overall needs of identified beneficiaries.

Orphans & Vulnerable Communities

BICA recognizes the challenges in the community to assist the underprivileged and disadvantaged community members. To this end the Institute endeavors to ensure that its benevolent initiatives are channeled where they are needed most and where they will have an impact. This is in line with nation’s effort to eradicate poverty and in line with the country’s vision 2036.
